If you are new to the online space, the concept of sales funnels may be foreign and unknown. As you learn about funnels, it can be incredibly difficult to know who to trust. You may find that everyone around you is trying to sell you something. That’s why we recommend the Skillshare platform as a low-risk place to learn to build funnels for free.
Below, we’ll show you how you can:
- Get unlimited access to tons of valuable funnel building, sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship courses;
- Get those courses through Skillshare for free.
We’ll also provide you with a course list of the top rated funnels and marketing courses available right now on Skillshare.
In Full Disclosure: We teach courses on Skillshare. This gives us a decent understanding of how the platform works, and what its strengths and weaknesses are. Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. This means that, at no additional cost to you, we will earn a commission if you make a purchase.
What is Skillshare and how can I use it to learn to build funnels?
Skillshare is a Netflix style teaching platform. You pay a small flat rate and get an all-access pass to all of the courses on the entire platform. Contrast this with Udemy, which charges a fee per course. In most cases, the price for one Udemy course will greatly exceed the price of Skillshare for one month.
Skillshare teachers post classes that are about 20-60 minutes long. These classes focus on the mastery of a single specific skill, rather than the mastery of an entire subject or area.
The teacher of the course has the option of listing the course as “free” or “premium.” There are tons of great courses listed in the free catalog, but not surprisingly, most of the courses are in the premium catalog.
If you use any of the links to Skillshare in this post, you can get two entire months (yes, that’s 60 days) for free. What’s neat about this is that many of the professional teachers and course creators who post classes on Skillshare are also teachers and creators on other platforms, such as Udemy. Frequently, a course that costs hundreds of dollars on Udemy will also be posted in smaller modules on Skillshare. You can get thousands of dollars of valuable education for free.
If you aren’t sure if you would get any value out of the platform, there is an option to do a free trial. During the free trial, you could literally consume content about funnels and marketing for 24 hours a day during the trial period. Then you can cancel if you don’t want to continue.
